New members are received into the church on several occasions throughout the year, after participating in an Inquirers Group, led by the Pastors. Inquirers Groups meet in several different time formats, to meet the needs of participants: sometimes on several consecutive weeks, in the evening; sometimes on several consecutive Sunday afternoons; and sometimes in a one-day, Saturday format.

The Inquirers Group is a low-key, informal opportunity to get to know others and to get to know the church. Because we are a larger church, we have found this essential, so that new members not only feel welcome but also find places within the church's life where they may exercise their God-given talents and spiritual gifts.

At the conclusion of the Inquirers Group, group members decide whether or not they are ready to join the church. New members are then received either by letter of transfer from another Christian church, by re-affirmation of faith (for those who have been members of another Christian church before, but not recently) and by profession of faith. If those making a profession of faith have not previously been baptized, they are baptized as adults, during the Sunday-morning worship service.
