Dear PPPC,

This Advent season is drawing to a close.

You already know one of my favorite reflections on Advent, from author Annie B. Jones, “I (almost) always come limping into Advent, desperate for light, but almost too tired to look for it. Then I remember: The Light came looking for me, and that’s the whole point.”

Whether or not we have been faithful in our waiting…perhaps it doesn’t really matter. What matters is the God is faithful in coming to us. Emmanuel is on the way. Let us anticipate this arrival together…the arrival of the love of God, in Jesus Christ, our Savior.
