The start of a New Year is a fine time to take stock and see how we’re doing in all aspects of life. To point us in the right direction, we’ll begin 2019 exploring the wisdom of Solomon as recorded in the Book of Proverbs. Specifically we’ll highlight:

• Doing what you should can keep you safe.
• Think before you lose your temper.
• Choose your words carefully.
• Know when to stop.

Our “Life App” this month is Self-Control-Choosing to do what you should even when you don’t want to. We’ll talk about drawing on God’s strength while exploring how to make wise choices and exercise self-control in keeping with God’s character. Please check our Preview Video for January.

If your child hasn’t visited us yet at Sunday School, the New Year brings an opportunity for a fresh start! You can download the Sunday School Registration Form online and bring it to church on Sunday.
