October 2024 Monthly Mission Partner

This month we are recognizing the efforts of P.E.O., a nonprofit U.S. based educational organization whose mission is to provide educational opportunities to help women around the world advance their education. Founded in 1869 with headquarters in Des Moine Iowa with 197,000 members they have helped more than 125,000 women pursue educational goals by providing more than $432 million in educational assistance. They are making a difference in women’s lives through six philanthropies and a foundation.

How PPPC can help: Mark your calendar and join us on October 20th at our church picnic when representatives will be on hand to tell us more about the local chapter of P.E.O. and consider purchasing some wonderful home crafted gifts! JoDee Anderson and Karen Norby will be selling bracelets, cork pumpkins and pot holders/ hot pads. All great gifts/stocking stuffers for Thanksgiving and Christmas with proceeds going directly to fund their scholarship funds for women! See you there!
