On May 21, our very own Elder Anna Landre and her team will be participating in the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA)’s annual Muscle Walk. Not only will Anna be participating in the walk but she has is the MDA’s New Jersey State Ambassador. The walk will take place at the Waterfront at South Mountain Recreation Complex, West Orange, NJ.
Everyone who knows Anna, knows the courageous, brilliant, inspiring person she truly is. Congratulations, Anna on being named as State Ambassador!
Anna was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type II when she was 18 months old. Since then, MDA has been a significant part of her life, giving her and her family the services and support they need. Disabilities shouldn’t be a hindrance to any child’s happiness, and MDA works to provide kids across the nation with opportunities they deserve.
Anna and her team are participating in the MDA Muscle Walk to help find research breakthroughs across diseases, provide funds to make care for kids and adults available from day one, and empower families in hometowns across America with support to live longer and grow stronger.
Please consider making a donation to support Anna and the 100,000 kids and adults with muscle-debilitating diseases who will be served by MDA this year.
