Evangelicals in A New Age: Post War to TODAY

On Tuesday, July 9th and July 16th, the Adult Education class will examine together the evolution of American evangelicalism. As a major interdenominational movement of Protestants in the U.S., evangelicals today comprise one quarter of all American Christians. From their emergence from Fundamentalism to today’s politically aligned movement we will seek to understand the theology and practices of contemporary evangelicalism. Among the questions we will explore is our own self-perception as an evangelical (good news) people. We will meet at 11:00 on the next two Tuesdays and via Zoom. All are welcome.
