In Holy Week, it’s easy to travel from peak to peak, without ever venturing into the valley. That’s the way it is for those who move right from the heights of Palm Sunday to the even greater and more impressive heights of Easter.
Yet, there’s more to Holy Week than Palm Sunday and Easter – much more.
It’s not all a peak experience. There are also those valley experiences of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, the Last Supper, Jesus on trial before Pilate, Jesus being mocked, scorned and scourged, Peter’s denial – and, finally, the crucifixion.
The way to explore these valley experiences is through our Maundy Thursday and Good Friday evening worship services. Check them out in the Events section of this website!
