Over the last week, many of you have asked about the “best” way to help those who are in need following Hurricane Helene. As always, I would recommend to you giving to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, who already has teams on the ground working to help those in need. You may give directly on their website, or you can make our a check to Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church and mark on the subject line: PDA Hurricane Helene.

I would also recommend to you our brothers and sisters at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church who are currently feeding approximately 1,500 persons a day, simply because they can and “that’s what the church does.” On their website, there is a link directly to their fund. Black Mountain Presbyterian is a fellow PC(USA) church in the region severely effected by Helene.
