Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) has set up a web page listing ways to reach out to those affected by Hurricane Matthew, both in Caribbean nations like Haiti (pictured here) and in our own country.

GIVE – there is an online link for direct gifts to PDA, or you may send a check to the church office with “Hurricane Matthew” on the memo line.

ACT – Forwarding a link on Facebook or other social media is a great way to spread the word.

PRAY – We who have lived through Hurricane Sandy know what it’s like to see so many aspects of our ordinary lives upended by a severe storm. In poorer communities where shelter was inadequate to begin with, the suffering is unimaginable. Please make our sisters and brothers recovering from Matthew a priority in your prayer life. Thank you!
