Our mission experience will be in Washington, D.C. from July 6-10. Participants will be involved in mission projects in the inner city, in a well-supervised setting. While primarily designed for youth, there is certainly opportunity for adults to be involved as well.
The mission trip is a partnership with the Youth Service Opportunities Project (YSOP), an outreach group founded in New York City in 1983 by members of the Society of Friends (Quakers). The group has been offering mission opportunities in Washington, DC since 2003.
YSOP is committed to helping young people become part of the solution to societal problems by showing them how even their smallest actions can make a difference in the lives of others.
