The other day I saw my first inflatable Star Wars Baby Yoda Christmas decoration while passing a nearby lawn! Ha! Lots of fun, but it made me think. What if you had to explain the meaning of Christmas to a child using only the Christmas lawn displays in your neighborhood? That might be challenging.

Fortunately, we have fine resources in our Sunday School curriculum to help us! This month, we’ll celebrate the best gift God ever gave—Jesus. Exploring scripture in the Books of Luke and Matthew, we’ll learn about the Messiah that had been promised for generations, John the Baptist who prepared the way for the arrival of Jesus, and the amazing story of Jesus’ birth. Because of Jesus, it’s possible for us to have a relationship with God that lasts forever.
