WELCOME BACK PASTOR EILEEN!

We welcome to our pulpit once again the Rev. Dr. Eileen Lindner, who served as our bridge pastor after Pastor Osy and prior to our call to Pastor Molly. Prior to her retirement to Brick and her introduction to our congregation she had retired as Senior Minister of the Presbyterian Church at Tenafly (NJ). Ordained by the Presbytery of Philadelphia in 1976, she has served as a PCUSA Mission Partner in Egypt and Lebanon. Returning to the United States she served on the White House staff during the Carter administration and has served as a parish pastor in Illinois, New York and New Jersey.

For over twenty years, Pastor Eileen served as the Associate General Secretary of the National Council of the Churches of Christ, USA. She holds the M.Div. degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago and the PhD degree from Union Theological Seminary/Columbia University in New York and has done post-doctoral studies at the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) and Oxford University (United Kingdom). Pastor Eileen is the author of several books and many articles. She is the mother of two grown sons and grandmother to one granddaughter and one grandson.
