From August 11-16, we’ll again be welcoming to our Volunteer Village a work group from the Lend A Hand mission group of the Presbytery of Carlisle, in central Pennsylvania. These good folks come to us under the overall sponsorship of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA).

We’ve converted the Great Hall of our Education Annex into a housing facility for volunteer work groups, that come to our community one week at a time to help local residents rebuild their homes following Hurricane Sandy.
