From October 13-18, we’ll be welcoming Lend A Hand back to our Volunteer Village. Lend A Hand is a disaster recovery mission of the Presbytery of Carlisle, in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area.  These willing volunteers come to us under the overall sponsorship of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA).

We’ve converted the Great Hall of our Education Annex into a housing facility for volunteer work groups, that come to our community one week at a time to help local residents rebuild their homes following Hurricane Sandy.
