Beloved PPPC –
Three things about this Sunday, June 7th:
ONE – As you will have read in the last couple of weekly newsletters, this Sunday was supposed to be the final Communion Breakfast, as the Kitchen Committee hangs up their aprons. Due to some illnesses, Communion Breakfast is cancelled and you are instead invited to bring one item to share for a “Potluck” Coffee Hour this Sunday after worship. I would encourage you, sometime this month, to seek out the members of the Kitchen Committee and offer them a big THANK YOU for their years of servant leadership! We give thanks for all those who have served on the Kitchen Committee!
TWO – On Sunday in worship, we will recognize this year’s PPPC Scholarship Recipient, Will Smykowski. Will is graduating from Brick Memorial High School and will be attending Northeastern University (Boston) next year. Let us remember Will and family in our prayers during these exciting months of graduation and new adventures!
THREE – This Sunday we begin a new sermon series! “There’s Someone I’d Like You to Meet,” our summer sermon series, will introduce us to lesser-known figures in the Bible. Come to worship each week as we encounter these faithful voices and quiet courage. An exploration of God at work beyond the spotlight.
See you in church,
Pastor Molly
